Könkäänsaari lean-to

The Könkäänsaari Lean-to is around 20 km north-east of Rovaniemi in the Arctic Circle Hiking Area, in the south-eastern part of Könkäänsaari, a beautiful island in Raudanjoki, or the Raudan River, in the landscape of the Vaattunkiköngäs Rapids. The two log-built lean-tos offer a view over the river, featuring a board-covered campfire site, a table, benches, a woodshed and outhouse.
